THEY'VE BEEN GOING ON AS LONG AS I'VE BEEN POSTING HERE...CERTAINLY MORE IN FEETBALL THAN BASES, BUT THEY HAVE BEEN GOING ON...AND PROBABLY STILL WILL...THEY DON'T HURT ANYONE...JUST TAKE UP A LITTLE CYBERSPACE....

Sorry to offend your delicate nature boys, but there used to be an ironclad rule about NO in-game updates on here.

Waste of space! If you are on the net to monitor this thread, then for God's sake, look at the updates for yourself.

And if you are going to update "the masses", then know what the crap you are talking about and don't misquote meaningful stats by DOUBLE what they really are!

I never said they were forbidden. Just said they used to be... which is balls on accurate.

I do think they should be as accurate as possible. Like don't post bogus stats.

Several long-time posters used to feel posting in game updates on plays was a sort of hex on the play.

I could really give a rat's rear! On second thought, it is sort of amusing to see some of the stuff people post and actually think it is the truth!

I guess he was trying to justify his "OVER" pick on Texas by overstating the men left on base stat by about double.

What he needs to realize is... he need not justify. Everyone loses from time to time. He had the Astros so he split... so what.

I am trying to educate the guy and he gets defensive and has a little tantrum.

I think you should make him stay in from recess General. Like a damn kindergarten around here sometimes!
